Regulatory Improvement System
A municipal system that makes the City of Monterrey's current regulations transparent, manages the register of inspectors, and publishes the Annual Regulatory Improvement Programme.
About the project
A system built for the City of Monterrey's Ministry of Innovation and Open Government, aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency, transparency and business investment in the city. Built on Wagtail CMS (Django) with a Vue 3 + Quasar frontend, it lets the responsible bodies keep the register of municipal regulations up to date, manage the register of inspectors and their inspections, and publish the Annual Regulatory Improvement Programme on a yearly cycle. It was designed so residents can consult regulations, inspection processes and the municipal government's commitments clearly and accessibly.
Key features
- Regulation register: a public record for every municipal regulation in force
- Inspector register: management of inspectors, inspections and site verifications
- Inspection reports: a log of field activity
- Annual Regulatory Improvement Programme: published yearly and broken down by month
- Root carousel configurable from the CMS
- Per-body permissions so each one maintains its own information
