Hi, I'm Martín ✌🏼
Full-Stack Developer specialising in microservice architecture, DevOps and cloud. I build systems where the backend guards the business rules and deployments can evolve without interrupting the people who depend on them.
My story
My path into technology started with curiosity: as a child I took gadgets apart just to understand what made them work, how the parts connected, and what happened when something broke. That same restlessness stayed with me through my teens, first as a pastime and then as a clear calling — I wanted to understand the world from the inside, not just use it.
In high school, as part of a technical programme in programming, I had my first real contact with code. At first it was a huge challenge — the syntax, the logic, the errors I couldn't make sense of — but I soon found that writing code felt different from anything else. I liked thinking in logic, turning an idea into something that ran on screen, and seeing the world as a system of solvable problems. That led me to frontend development and to building my first websites.
Later I discovered Python, and it was a turning point. Its clarity, its versatility and its community won me over completely. It let me go past the interface and understand how things work behind the scenes: APIs, databases, infrastructure, asynchronous processes. That is how I moved into backend development with Django and FastAPI, and started thinking about software as a whole system rather than just a pretty screen.
Today I work with Python, Rust, Java, TypeScript and .NET 6. I lead the migration of a SaaS platform from a Django monolith to eight event-driven microservices, with multi-tenant isolation through Row Level Security in PostgreSQL. I also build contact centre solutions, virtual agents and HubSpot integrations. I design infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and deployments with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes and Terraform.
Alongside that, I'm building NexosoftDev, a personal venture through which I want to put together, step by step, my own end-to-end technology offering. I'm driven by building products that help real people, automating the tedious parts, and designing clean architectures that still make sense two years later. I don't see myself only writing code: I see myself learning constantly, reading documentation, trying new tools, and working out how to apply technology where it can actually change something. I'm only at the start of the road, and that is exactly what excites me most.
How I work
Simplicity as a principle
The best solutions are usually the simplest ones. I favour clean, modular, well-tested code over over-engineering: clear architectures that anyone on the team can read, maintain and extend without friction.
Thinking about whoever uses it
Technology exists to serve people. Before writing a line I think about who it is for and how to make their experience more intuitive, accessible and efficient — whether that is an end user, an internal client or a fellow developer.
Building for impact
I want to build technology that makes a real difference. I'm drawn to projects that streamline public-sector processes, automate internal operations, and deliver concrete value to the people and communities they serve.
Beyond the code
Film lover
A devoted cinephile with a taste for many genres, from classic cinema to contemporary productions. Film is a source of inspiration and a way of exploring new ideas.
Video game enthusiast
I'm drawn to video games, especially those with intricate narratives and inventive mechanics. Games have taught me a great deal about experience design and problem solving.
Continuous learning
I enjoy studying documentation, exploring new tools, and turning what I learn into practical decisions about architecture, quality and operations.
Work in progress
E-commerce
An open-source e-commerce platform built on a modular architecture, with Django REST Framework on the backend and NuxtUI on the frontend. It includes catalogue, cart, payment gateway, inventory management and an admin panel. The goal is to hand a client a complete, scalable, production-ready online store from day one, without starting from scratch.
Building NexosoftDev
NexosoftDev is the personal project I'm building with the idea of turning it, over time, into my own offering of end-to-end technology solutions. For now I'm the only person behind the brand, defining the vision and the first pieces, spanning UX/UI through to DevOps. The plan is to grow it step by step, bring in talent, and open the doors to the first clients.
nexosoftdev.comAppointment management system
A multi-tenant medical scheduling SaaS built with Django REST Framework and a Nuxt 4 + NuxtUI monorepo. Each clinic or independent doctor gets their own subdomain (public booking site, admin panel and practitioner portal), backed by a central platform panel for managing tenants, plans and subscriptions. It integrates PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery and AI suggestions via Ollama.
Make web development intuitive, performant and enjoyable. That's what Nuxt is all about.
