About the project
The City of Monterrey's Animal Welfare platform, with two fronts: an API-first Django REST API for running the municipal centres (animal registration, veterinary activity, lost-pet reports, adoption coordination) and a public SPA called Huellitas Monterrey, built with Vue.js + Quasar, where residents can browse the catalogue of animals up for adoption and report lost animals. The project was designed both to streamline shelter operations and to be shared with other municipalities.

My role on the project
Full-Stack Developer
- Designed the API-first backend with Django REST Framework
- Built the public Huellitas Monterrey SPA with Vue + Quasar
- Containerised the platform with Docker to simplify deployment
- Wrote technical documentation so the platform could be shared with other municipalities
